Plumbing and Gas Lecturer

Part time - 2 days per week Thursdays and Fridays

£33 - £40 per hour
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the plumbing industry and be capable of delivering high-quality training and assessment in compliance with C&G9289 requirements for both gas and environment routes.
Key Responsibilities.
- Delivering training and assessment for NVQ Level 3 qualifications in plumbing and related areas.
- Ensuring compliance with qualification standards and requirements.
- Maintaining current knowledge of industry practices and techniques.
- Providing verifiable evidence of occupational competence.
Requirements.
- Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in Plumbing: Must hold a Level 3 NVQ or equivalent qualification in plumbing.
- Industry Experience: Demonstrable experience in the plumbing industry.
- Qualification Standards: Thorough understanding of qualification standards and requirements.
- Professional Registration: Current registration with an appropriate professional body or relevant qualification to act as an assessor for a specific occupational pathway.
- CPD Evidence: Assessors holding Level 3 NVQ-related qualifications in domestic gas (wet central heating) Heating and Ventilating Installation (Domestic Heating) must provide CPD evidence sufficient to demonstrate competence in related plumbing systems.
- Teaching Background (Preferred): Previous teaching experience is highly desirable.
